No, the fact that you don’t understand the ramifications of making abortion illegal and you think you can make everything black and white and feel better about yourself for “saving babies” is what makes me assume you’re ignorant. but that was me giving you the benefit if the doubt in that you’re not a hateful person.

Well I mean we could talk about how almost a fifth of women’s pregnancy related deaths came from illegal abortions before Roe v Wade. That’s a nice place to start.

What’s your source for that?  I’ve never heard that before, even after all my research.  Also, any surgery was bound to have a high mortality rate, especially one as invasive as a surgical abortion.  In the 1800’s, abortions were even commonly preformed by striking a woman hard in the abdomen.  Couple primitive and unsanitary methods with the lack of effective antibiotics and post op care, there are going to be a lot of death.

People who are actually Pro Life are not only for illegalized abortion, but an abortion free world.  We seek to eliminate the causes of abortion, such as the feminization of poverty, abusive relationships, mental illness, rape, etc.
